On 25 October, Ma Xianghui, the director of medium-size and small enterprises bureau of The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, inspected Greatoo and was warmly received by Wu Chaozhong, the chairman of the board. The guests and the hosts visited intelligent workshops, curing press workshops, giant mold workshops and robot workshops.

During the visit, Wu introduced that with the largest scale and leading technology, Greatoo is the first listed enterprise manufacturing radial tire molds. Established in 1992, the company focused on the research and production of tire molds and won the title of “A Famous Brand of Guangdong” and “Branded Products of Guangdong”. The company pays attention to technical innovation and keeps improving its innovative ability by introducing, digesting and re-innovating the technology. With the permission of the national ministry of personnel, the company established “post-doctoral research stations”, “academician station” with Zhongshan University, “university-enterprise research base of digital tire molds” with Guangdong University of Technology and equipment research institutes in Beijing, which enabled the company to take the lead in tire molds and tire equipment industries. The company has developed the industries of radial tire molds, hydraulic curing press, precision numerical machine tool and industrial robots. Ma listened carefully to Wu’s report and gave high praise. Wu continued to introduced that under the direction of national policies and the support of provincial and municipal government, Greatoo has realized strategic investment from the investment in products and industries. Its tire molds and curing press have been sold in international market and the company has been listed as one of mainstream suppliers for the global purchasing and supplying system of international tire giants. In order to promote the transformation and upgrading of the company, Greatoo has established subsidiaries in Beijing and Guangzhou and Greatoo (Zhongde) Industry 4.0 base in Jieyang Zhongde Metal Ecological City. Besides, Greatoo actively responded to the national policy of “going out”, acquiring local companies in Germany and USA, setting up wholly owned subsidiary in India, signing technology contract with Israel SAS control system company to promote the industrial revolution of intelligent manufacturing industries.

Finally, the guests visited robot workshops. Ma was deeply attracted by flexible production line, automatic stereoscopic warehouse, 3C automatic processing unite, robotic instruction, multiple robots and cooperative carrying by robots. Wu introduced with high flexibility, reliability, safety and stability, the company’s robots indicated that Greatoo has moved into next industrial classes. After the visit, Ma expressed that a group of enterprises invested by Germany have been set up and growing in Jieyang , the Zhongde Cooperation area for medium-sized and small enterprises supported by the national Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Germany Economy and Energy Ministry. Greatoo’s contruction of industrial base in Zhongde Ecological City was an effective force to drive the cooperation between medium-sized and small enteprises.
